The End review

The game "The end" I have to say is one of the most good games I've ever played, I actually enjoyed the game. The challenges and hidden clues were very, very hard and interesting. The creator did an amazing job with the game.
The end comes with an avatar, at the beginning of the game you have to create your own avatar, you can do it however you like, with the items that has been given by the creator. The graphics and colors were great, I loved everything about the game, I enjoyed playing the game.
What I really love about the game is that you have magical powers, you have this power called the "light power" it may sound lame but it is very cool! You can turn shadows in to an solid object, pretty cool huh?
I have to say that"The End" is a strategy game because of the different ways and strategies that you have to work out to solve the mystery that awaits you. This game will help me with our new assessment which is we have to develop our own game! I think this will really help me on how to set up my hidden clues and mysteries and making it very hidden, which makes it challenging for the people to play my game.
How does the story explore the philosophies of death?Well they made it obvious like they call their objects "death objects" and all the questions they ask every time you finish a level, they ask odd questions that makes you think differently about the game like "would you donate your body to help others after your death"? i mean it is unusual for something like that on a game.
What themes/messages are clearly displayed by the story? What the after life looks like, what happens after we die!

How does the art explore the philosophies of death.
Well the art of the games shows alot of things that relates to the idea of death, for example your avatars you can change them into a zombie and Frankenstein. These two things had something to do with death.

What will I take from this that I can apply to my own game?
From playing this game I think that the thing that I will take from it is the way the creator gave us a lot of ways to create your avatar and also the way he captivated me with the graphics and challenges in the game. The graphics I would say is average but I really liked the way he somehow based his avatars on the dead hence the name "the end". He somehow created some characters that looked like zombies, Frankenstein. All these characters were based on the idea of death. I really love the way how the story was told, I wasn't sure of it because I didn't get to the end but during a discission between my classmates and teacher and I discovered that we all had different opinions about the game, and it really made us talk about religions and death, afterlife. It was amazing how this game influenced us to look beyond the game and out in society. So for my game I really want the players and audience to really think about how my game relates to the outside world and have discussions on the game.
